Acropolis ascension

Day Two in Athens. Jet-lag has finally – THANKFULLY – abated and Maggie and I hit the sights. Nary a map in sight (ok, fine…we had one in the bag, but didn’t use it!) we simply located the Parthenon high atop the hill and headed that way. Behold our amazing navigational skills, last night’s “can driver going in circles, speaking no English, not knowing where we were going & charging us €5 even after demanding to get out” debacle aside.

13,438 steps later, I do believe it’s naptime. Acropolis ascension
